Waterfowl nesting project

The 2025 Waterfowl Nesting Project will enhance critical habitat at Key Pittman WMA, Kirch WMA, and private ranches in Alamo, supporting local waterfowl populations. Volunteers and conservationists will installed nesting materials and improve wetland areas to provide safe breeding grounds for ducks and geese. This effort plays a vital role in sustaining healthy waterfowl numbers and promoting responsible wildlife management across Nevada’s key wetlands.
