On May 11-12, volunteers and wildlife enthusiasts gathered near Alamo, NV, for the SHEEP CAMP & EPA1 guzzler build. This important event focused on constructing water collection systems, known as guzzlers, which provide essential water sources for local wildlife, particularly desert bighorn sheep. These guzzlers help sustain wildlife populations in arid regions by collecting and storing rainwater. Participants worked together to install and improve these structures, ensuring that animals in the area have access to vital hydration throughout the year. It was a meaningful way to support conservation efforts while enjoying Nevada’s rugged outdoors.
