WHIN was proud to partner with NDOW at this year’s Clark County Fair and Rodeo, bringing hands-on conservation education to the next generation. We sponsored all the bluegill in the fishing tank at the NDOW booth, making it possible for countless kids—many of them first-time anglers—to catch their very first fish.
The joy on their faces said it all.
But we didn’t stop at fishing rods and smiles. WHIN volunteers spent the weekend talking with families about Nevada’s wildlife, our habitat restoration efforts, and how everyday folks can get involved. From guzzlers to nesting boxes, we shared how conservation works—and why it matters.
